A GOOD HEART'S TRAP 2

Updated: Mar 30

People are not always aligned with what they ask or beg for.

And so, caution is wisdom before offering your time, energy or salvation.

Often, when all is said and done, the outcome of your efforts may surprise you, or even worse, it may do severe harm.

For in trying to carry another, you may inherit a weight that was never meant for you.

And in the end, you may find yourself bearing it -- all alone.

Summary

  • People are not always aligned with what they ask for.

  • Desperation speaks, but truth does not always follow.

  • Discernment must come before generosity.

  • Do not give your time, energy, or salvation blindly.

  • Good intentions do not guarantee good outcomes.

  • What you try to fix may turn against you.

  • In carrying others, you risk inheriting their burden.

  • You may end up carrying this burden alone.
